Patreon Batch

A month of Patreon posts, scheduled in one afternoon.

Write on your computer. Import Excel. Mix photos, video, and audio in one post. Log into Patreon once. Then publish, draft, or schedule — without clicking through the composer 40 times.

How it works

What you get

Four pieces that add up to "write it once, publish it everywhere."

Local campaign folders

Each post is a folder with markdown or HTML, media, and attachments. You keep the files. Patreon is just the last mile.

Excel for batch dates

Folder names cannot store a time of day. Export a template, fill publish times, import, schedule.

Mixed media that actually posts

Photo galleries, photos plus video, inline images in HTML/MD, and audio players — proven on a live Patreon composer.

Verify setup

After install, run the same checks we use in production: login, photos, audio, video, schedule. If it passes, you are ready.

Get the app

Download

Pick your platform. Neither build is code-signed yet, so your OS will show a one-time warning the first time you open it — that's expected, not a real detection. Steps to get past it are below if you need them.

Mac says "Apple could not verify this app is free of malware" — what do I do?

Open the DMG and double-click Install and Open.command — don't open Patreon Batch.app directly from the disk image or after a Chrome download.

  1. When the warning appears, click Done (not "Move to Trash").
  2. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, click Open Anyway.
  3. Confirm Open Anyway and enter your Mac password. macOS remembers this choice from now on.

Prefer Terminal? This does the same thing:

xattr -cr "/Applications/Patreon Batch.app"
"/Applications/Patreon Batch.app/Contents/MacOS/Patreon Batch"
Windows says "Windows protected your PC" — what do I do?

Microsoft Defender SmartScreen blocks unsigned installers on first run — this is that.

  1. On the blue warning screen, click More info (small link under the message).
  2. A Run anyway button appears — click it.
  3. The installer runs normally after that. If Windows Security separately flags the file (a different check from SmartScreen), open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Protection history, find the downloaded installer (named like PatreonBatch-Setup-*.exe), and choose Allow — known false positive for unsigned installers, not a real detection.

Before you publish

Install, then prove it on your account

One-time check so you know your machine is ready before you schedule anything real.

  1. Install Chrome, if you don't already have it.
  2. Open Patreon Batch.
  3. Connect Patreon and log in.
  4. Click Verify setup (or run npm run verify). The app posts tiny "delete me" drafts, checks the composer, then deletes them.

If Verify setup is green, Publish / Schedule will use that same Chrome window.
